DECEMBER 2011: New range of products Permaban – Betajoint
Hopefully you will all have seen from our website, that we are starting to run a campaign for the promotion of our Beta range of products, we have always known that the Beta products have a place in our industry but have failed to market them and sell in them in the correct way.
We now have a comprehensive range of Beta products incorporating the Beta joint, Beta expansion, Beta edge and Beta edge AR (see description in section "Leave-in-Place Joint System" ).
Attached you will hopefully see some images of our new in-house test rig, this rig has been designed to try and destruct joints as quickly as possible, hopefully from the images you will see that the Beta joint (notifiable by the hole in the top) has performed extremely well in these tests to the point that its inherent nature has allowed it to mould itself to the the arris, as the concrete has warn away. The alpha joint on the other hand, has done exactly as designed and has stood fast against the battering of the wheel, but to the point that the concrete behind it has significantly broken away causing potential impact issues for materials handling equipment.
We do have lots more testing to do, but this should help us in our push on the Beta range.
